Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 announced – Qualcomm's new affordable 5G chipset

It has Adrino 610 a copy of snapdragon 680 4g and they changed into 4s gen 2 and giving 5g copy cat snapdragon

    All Emulators up to ps2 are mainly single thread apps few can take advantage of two cores, only highend Emulation need lot of cores.

      Then I said, they're significantly apart, "ESPECIALLY" in GPU, by which I mean the 4G2 is weaker on both scales, CPU and GPU. Only, GPU gap is bigger.

      Yet, your claim that 4G2 matches 855, isn't right. And the reasons are ironically better described by you, when you said "don't look at GHz alone, bandwidth, cache etc also help".

      So, I have no idea what the debate is, and what you're trying to say.

              This Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 is just meh. Didn't used UFS 3.1 which is very rare to get on the low-end segment.

              Phones like the Redmi 12 5G with SD4 Gen 2 sticks to UFS 2.2. Which make him the cheapest phone, but did not expect as great with UFS 3.1 speed for the price.


              Same thing on Dimensity 7020 from MediaTek, like on Motorola G54 use UFS 2.2

                Cpu score don't look at GHz alone, bandwidth, cache etc also help, faster ram in dual chanell boost score too.

                    On both 4G and 5G, you're looking at marginal differences in performance in real life use like video calling and download times.
                    Both manage around 50ms ping for most instant purposes.
                    In fact, 5G often finds less signal in my opinion (but this could be due to lesser towers for now, so I'll refrain).

                    The only thing is as most networks focus on 5G now, they start to ignore 4G and thus performance might go down even though 4G can do better.

                      The main purpose of this "S" branded chipset is to make 5G cheap-S.

Even if they made improvements in efficiency I doubt they can close a gap of 20-25%.

                              Performance and speed may increase in future.
                              My phone is still stuck with 4G and i am not sure when i will update my phone like from 4G to 5G.

                                That is more than enough for normal people, i guess.
