I got a chance to play around with an S24 recently. I was very surprised at how smooth it was. Menu opening, scrolling, everything was very smooth. Much better than Pixel 8, which had noticeable micro stuttering on scrolling.
I think Samsung and OnePlus are leaving others behind when it comes to UI smoothness.

Smoother animations? I’m all for it!
Right now it sometimes feels really laggy when you are switching between apps (S23U)

As a long time Samsung flagship devices owner Samsung devices will always feel like beta with their issues and lag. on an iPhone 14pro now and using developer beta and its much better than any Android stable release by far.
