Anonymous, 10 Aug 2024Huawei consistently make earbuds with stem design since 1st... moreThey went for a stem design because it is superior overall and as the first tests have shown, the improvements for the microphones aswell as the controls are really good, I can attest to that, too. They chose an AirPod esque design because Samsung generally goes for a fairly simple design currently with all of their products. There isn't much they can make different, but in my opinion the Buds 3 Pro do enough to be their own thing. Only the Buds 3 without Pro look really similar, but that's to be expected

Not sure how Samsung fans can still defend that.

These wor... moreThat just depends on your use-case. If frequently roam across devices (e.g., different phones, tablet, and TV), are committed to the Google Smart Home ecosystem, or have a tendency to lose your earbuds, then the Google features are absolute essentials for quality of living -- the buds are paired and automatically available wherever your Google account goes.
Nevertheless I believe we are in some agreement, for the typical user that pairs the earbuds once and never changes device, or diligently keeps track of the buds and the case, that user can live perfectly fine without ever needing the Google features (i.e., the built-in app and standard-stuff will suffice).

These wor... moreI know, these definitely would, but not for the price.
Google Fast Pair allows for quicker pairing and can track the earphones more easily.

What I don't like about any Huawei Freebuds - too short very uncomfortable ear tips. Single flange ear tips should be at very least 7 mm long. And there always should be double flange ear tips options. And this problem is actual for many manufacturers, not just Huawei. And they don't even provide options.

I have them for approximatively 2 months, had already two updates on them, with each update the sound got better and some bugs were fixed.
Tbh bass on these are more than enough, yes, they are not as bassy as for example on Sony or JBL, but they are still ok and soft, and i do listen to these genres mentioned in the review as well.
Also they are very comfortable, and the volume slider makes them even better, got them for 90 EU, price/quality is fair

Especially considering it's lacking Google Fast Pair, it's kinda overpriced. At least in SG, you can find a Soundcore Liberty 4 NC for 139 SGD while this costs 123 SGD.

Ive had the last 2 previois versions of the freebuds and my experience was terrible. The first one i bought, the 2nd one it was free from a Huawei phone that i purchased. Sound quality was excellent, to be fair. Problem is their batteries totally drains after a day even if i wasnt using them. The service center, observed it and replaced it. Sadly, the replacement had the same problems. I stopped complaining, i just bought a different brand. I wont buy this brand again
