Anonymous, 02 Aug 20247 gen 1 is a regression from 778g while only matching 780Motorola went with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition (2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 core) at the helm alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Bro this is accelerated version of SD 7 gen 1 not the actual SD 7 gen 1.
So its not like SD 778. No way.

Imagine a processor built for speed. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition cranks things up a notch with a max clock speed of 2.5 GHz, compared to the standard version's 2.4 GHz. This translates to smoother performance, especially when juggling demanding apps or diving into graphic-intensive games.

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2024SD 7 Gen 1 ☠️💀Motorola went with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition (2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 core) at the helm alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Its better than common ordinary SD 7 gen 1 this is improved version of it.
Just like Nubia Red Magic or Rog Phones went with overclocked version of SD 8 gen 3.
This is the same its overclocked version of SD 7 gen 1 which means its better.
And since this phone were build to withstand big and low temperatures it can last a very long time with this maybe bit old but a lot swifter chipset.

Past few years there is litterary zero change in android versions.
Security is the other thing but many people with old phones running android 7 or older proven their phones still perfectly working.
Having 2 years of updates is fine if you have hardware which can last 5+ years without issues.
And this Motorola went with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition (2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 core) at the helm alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
So its not just ordinary common SD 7 gen 1. Its improved accelerated version of it.
Its overclocked just like the Red Magic 9S.
Its better faster and maybe little more heat but this phone were build to withstand high or low temperatures.

Past 4 years almost zero improvements with newest andrid series.

PureOS, 01 Aug 20242 years of updates. Nice joke.Bro like it really matters you get app updates for as lng as your phone will last.
If it last 10 years then it will gets app updated this long.
Last thing i really would to is to end with a very updated phone but very outdated hardware unable to run latest apps and tricks.
Samsung and Google might get 7 years of updates or even 10 but if your hardware cant keep up it makes no sense.
Most people buys their phones on contract from their network carriers and try to sell their 2 years old device when it still have a decent value and buy a new phone.
At least here in EU it works this way.
Nobody would buy a 10 years old phone worth maybe 2 euros even if still supported from mother company.

Techcake , 01 Aug 2024Dimensity 7350 would be better choice than sd 7gen 1Motorola went with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition (2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 core) at the helm alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Its improved version of SD 7 gen 1 so its better than actual SD 7 gen 1.

Sun Sand, 01 Aug 2024Thanks, how about IP69?9 is interesting because it goes back to water jets, this time it means the phone is resistant to high pressure high temperature water jets. It's rarely see on phones but some have it, like the vivo x100 ultra.
