No ultrawide camera, no NFC. Who is this even for? Any why should I get it instead of the Galaxy A15 5G? For the glass back and very slight ingress protection? Yeah nah this ain’t it

    Looks great for a budget phone.
    And at least it supports a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD.
    Good pixel density for the screen as well.

      Milking of customers continues under excuse of 5g. The real price of phones sporting this SOC should be around 7k-9k. Moto G34 is already available for 10k with S695. However, we are getting decent phones at 20-23k sporting 7 gen 3, Dimensity 8300, Snapdragon 8s gen 3(with replacement) etc.

      Mediocre ISP present in 4 gen 2 won't produce good images even if you pair it with IMX890. So, basic 12/48 mp camera should be more than enough which will help bring down the price.

        120/140$ real price, depending of memory configuration. Sd 4 gen 2 was already used in previous generation. That 120hz is not that fluid with this soc. Plus camera will show mediocre results, again cause of weak soc ISP. I can only recommend this to someone who has eyes problem. Screen is with DC dimming, so eyes will be relaxed. Plus reading mode is great to. That kind of people will be more than satisfied. Others should explore Samsung a15 4g, Motorola g54 power, Poco m6 pro, Redmi note 13 5g, or some Tecno.

                    Not bad. But, this is what the actual Redmi 12 5G/ Poco M6 Pro should've been from the start. 6s Gen 3 or D7025 is a better option instead whatever this renamed 4 gen 2 is.

                        How exactly does this compete with M6 pro though that one has oled but 4 gen 2 is slightly faster than g99
