01 August 2024
The "Never Settle" red with fake leather texture - an intriguing combo, for sure.

One thing I noticed no one is covering is the removal of a year of updates and security updates for this model only.

CamoGeko-XDA, 03 Aug 2024Actually this looks great. I can't wait for it to release!!At 6 months into the product cycle life span you should have the dollars you'd likely to spend and wait until the really big improvement for late December announcement an launch for shipping in January 2025.

That Open2/N4 should get some impressive hardware improvements using SD 8 Gen 4

justasmile, 02 Aug 2024Your comment had nothing to do with his. He was complaining... moreExactly! He's complaining about the price.
I'm validating that by my comment below as other than the tries and true tri-slider and brand recognition and presence of distribution in North America, OnePlus has nothing else to contribute to the parent owning hcom9any that is OPPO whom builds and designs this specific model.

In other words OnePlus should have absolutely NO reason to charge more for this edition really, not even the privacy setting either.

My specific mention of the partnership and existing unit that sadly GSMArena failed to mention in this article fails the end user and helps OnePlus into fooling consumers into accepting the wool overoureyes for the price increase.

Someone else also recognized this just before my post of 5his being an Oppo Find N3.

        Is it coming to Europe?

Actually this looks great. I can't wait for it to release!!

Since everyone knows that the Open is a rebadged Oppo, why not just say that it's one of the colors of the Oppo Find N3 under the OnePlus brand?
Have you become so bad you can't even say that???
You used to be a world reference, THE reference even. Those days are long gone!

now this looks like the Eldast.
In other words Ancient Dragon Wyrm king or a Grandmaster class of a foldable phone.
All other folds and flips can go nuts.

This colorway is NOT OnePlus' work at all - just lame half stepping marketing for no reason. This is the EXACT same colorway released the 2nd month of launch of the Oppo Find N3!! Just check on you tube and you'll find a VERY independent go over of this by a nin-prominent YT'er.

Secondly just like their staff did NOT prepare to at least remember all details of the Open given to them by their parent company Oppo whom introduced the Find N3 just 1.5hrs before, clearly showed their weaknesses a and only by tradition of being e trenched as a brand in North America is the o ly reason they exit (OnePlus) or have jobs.

Third this is NOT EVEN the same red as OnepLus' never settle irs a lot deeper of a red!

Doesn't anyone research anything not even 10mins worth or is it more and more people live likes as a parrot?! Yeeesssh. Lol

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2024Yet another phone at a ridiculous price. You're clearly trolling, aren't you?

No matter how good looking red burgundy color, you will still cover it with case because is very fragile phone 😁 for the price of $1,500usd. But its still up to someone will own it, if they’ll gonna take the risk of breaking it by dropping on concrete floor 🤣

Have to admit it looks really nice. I'm actually looking forward to see what the fold 2 can deliver. Shame we have to wait a whole year

OnePlus/Oppo really does know how to make red phones.
