Considering the price you can get a pixel 8a on sale for, this seems expensive. Pixel 8a as better spec, camera, wireless charging plus much better software support. I like the brand and lots of the products They release but I think this is priced wrong

I said it's more expensive in London because it was made in India so there will be costs incurred transporting etc it over there. Im only specifically comparing these 2 countries/areas since I don't know how the prices go in other areas. You should take your own advice and think before you talk. And learn how to less rude when trying to converse with someone.

pl2rts, 03 Aug 2024Actually i can't really say the brands are ripping cus... moreYeah because of something called PPP. US$ 500 'feels' more expensive to someone living in India than in the US or UK because people here are having lower salary. For example, even in Mumbai (India's richest city) starting salary in IT is only slightly more than a $100 a month.

Snapdragon 695 hater, 03 Aug 2024Agree. I think the Indians get all the good stuff whereas u... moreActually i can't really say the brands are ripping customers off with that in UK or anywhere in Europe. The cost of living and cost of doing business is just got too expensive. Pay like 2000-4000 euro average wage for people who work in the company then pay for energy and rent and everything for all the shops and factories expenses and then to be in black and not in red you need to have these higher prices. For us these prices in China and India look cheap as heck but for the locals in there these are still expensive when they get like 500 euro a month or something

Apple i... moreIsn't motorola owned by Lenovo that is basically Chinese ?
It started in the States being IBM and Motorola but then Chinese bought it and made it Lenovo and left the Motorola name without changing it. Skype was also made in Estonia and later sold to Microsoft and then become as American brand
USA always want low prices for all the product on their country while always ask higher price from all the other countries.

Nikojas, 03 Aug 2024Shame that a UK start up is charging its UK customers much ... moreAgree. I think the Indians get all the good stuff whereas us here in the UK we get stuffed with more expensive prices and we don't get those solid budget and midrangers.
The UK was so heavily disappointed with the CMF phone 1 as it didn't have NFC which prevents us from making contactless transactions via phone. This was a deal breaker for many. As India don't rely on nfc much this would have been a solid deal for them.
UK company screwing over UK customers. Same old story.
