Why oh why is Sony not seeing the Playstation Portal as a Playstation Portable Ultra? I can already see the accessory as a Portable Gaming Handheld! Especially if they Apply the ability to play PS4 and PS5 games on the GO with these kind of Specs.
1. Ryzen 8840U with 780M GPU.
2. Front Facing DTS Speakers with Dolby Atmos.
3. 80Wh Battery with 65W charging.
4. 2TB storage with Expandable MicroSD storage.
5. 16GB GDDR7 RAM
Do they really want to earn a lot of money and beat Nintendo Switch sales of 141.3 million console?

I think they could have explored the possibilities of a device like this better. They could create an extra function for it, displaying information that is running in the background and/or completely new.
While I'm using the TV to play on my PS5, I could have the option of showing some extra information on the Portal screen, without having to pause the game to do so, such as:
-Chat;
-List of objectives;
-Various statistics;
-Item inventory;
-An expanded and/or more detailed map;
-The view from the rearview mirror (in a racing game);
-The available reserve players (in a soccer game);
-The players who are alive and dead and how many kills each one has (in a first-person shooter);
-...
There are many possibilities. A device like this, with options like the ones I've mentioned, in addition to making the player even more immersed in the game, could perhaps also give him a relative advantage by having a better overview of the game with the extra information available.
Something like this could make such a device even more attractive and garner more sales for Sony.

I see the portal as souped up controller rather than a standalone. Anyhow people buying PS5 are rich which is why Sony priced this so high.

Just give an app to use your phone or laptop as a remote screen.connect your ps5 controller and good to go.no need to buy a hardware to do only one task

This could have worked if it could run digital PSP games, PS1 games or even Vita games as a plus to having that remote play feature.
But it cant. It's literally just a cheap phone from 2018. It uses a SD662.

The PlayStation Portable remains the best SONY handheld to this day. PlayStation Vita tried to suprass it but failed, and it's okay, but when a multi-million dollar company makes this hell of an abomination, it's just bad as it can get, I mean, $200 just to remote play it? Seriously? It's like getting both a Super Famicom and a GameBoy and a copy of Contra III: The Alien Wars just to play it. It'd better for y'all to buy a Nintendo Switch for this price, or a refurbished Steam Deck.

Sony's PSP remains the best handheld they ever produced.
This junk can't even be used without a PS5 at bay. This is essentially just a glorified controller atp.

Who cares about this Sony? I’d rather see Valve and a partner team up for the Steam Deck in the Indian market.
