The G99 Ultra like into the Poco M6 Pro is fine. The (display) lag of the phone goes away, if you switch to developers options, and then use the system graphics driver, instead of the default one. So far, this was my best 169 EUR invested into a 8GB/256GB phone ever...it runs really smooth. 5G is just blah currently into 2024. When 5G contracts are being capped at 50 Mbit, what good is it for? You won't get 30GB monthly data volume for 9.99 bucks with 250/300Mbit 5G connection speed...so what gives? ;)

    NOTE 40X with Density 6300 is very similar in performance of Helio G99 to D6080 era.

    D6300 is a good recommendation, but you'll need to consider the alternative ones like the Helio G99, which is way cheaper. And remember how 5G connectivity matters to you.

    So Infinix is trying to bring mainstream phones at a good specs. D6300 is a great move, but seeing more devices in the future.

    I also hope Infinix must supply Dimensity 7030 or D7300 for the next couple of years. These are power efficient, and its very welcome to have HDR10/HLG support for video playback.

        I was just making fun of the misspelling that GSMArena made, I don't think the Dimensity 6300 is a great processor by any means. They need to stop refreshing the Helio G99 and should just make something that is faster and has a better ISP. If anything, the Dimensity 6400 should be at least as fast as the Snadpragon 7s Gen 2 (so, as fast as the Dimensity 7300, which is slightly weaker than the Dimensity 7200 for some inexplicable reason).

                                The NOTE 40X 5G now holds the record for the slowest NOTE 40 Series phone ever made, after the identically-performing NOTE 40 4G and NOTE 40 Pro 4G, because Dimensity 6300 in the 40X has even worse halved-out sequential read speeds when compared to the already "slow" G99 with 1,000 MB/s sequential read UFS 2.2.

There are even kits that put an extra fake camera hole on older phones so it can look like the iPhone triple camera.
