The new 11” and 13” iPad Air and iPad Pro models helped Cupertino jump in market share around the globe.

I can even count with 1 hand, how many people i see using that mediocre Apple tablet in the last 3 years in public spaces.

This will entice non western markets heavily. Besides, iPad refresh from the consumers at least 5-7 years hence, if the right players pitch and offer value, people will jump into it. As such iPad is not offering anything special while others are offering AMOLED, OLED panels at far cheaper.

          No it won't, all these years iPad been untouchable and no-one else have been even close and it won't change in future either. Apple owns tablet market and will own it in future too.

They either come and show up then vanish or never bothered to continuously engage with customers. I like OnePlus Pad, I see Honor Pad as well. Samsung also h as a Tablet catering to various audience. I think this will heat up the market in the near future for sure which will make it very difficult for Apple outside USA & European markets.

              I am typing this message in my iPad Pro 13 Inches 1 TB normal glass, LTE 2024 M4 along with the Magic Keyboard. This is good overall but insane price ($2200 inclusive of all) with some student discounts. I wouldn’t have bought my ASUS ROG STRIX G18 32 GB i9 14th gen, 18 inche 500 nit QHD Screen for $1800++tax. This iPad practically nails all the tablet experience and in few cases of Laptop. But overall iPad OS still in its primitive stages. Wasted processing power and 16 GB of RAM. I don’t do any image or video editing as such!

It's impossible that he or she didn't see that the 2Q23 market share is 37.0%. When do you think that the author will correct this mistake?

They have low sales in China even though they offer better specs than the likes of Xiaomi/Redmi, Honor and Huawei for the same price. However, Xiaomi and Huawei have stores everywhere, basically in most medium to large shopping malls in wealthier cities in China. However, Lenovo has a much more limited offline presence so they are more limited in terms of offline sales. The major offline third party electronic sellers like Suning also often sell lenovo tablets (even though they do sell their laptops). A large offline presence is important for sales and in China at least Lenovo has a much smaller presence than the competition (especially compared to Huawei and Xiaomi). The advantage of fewer offline stores though is they tend to offer cheaper prices than the competition for similar hardware. Maybe it's different in other countries but I think that's the main reason for their limited tablet sales in China. You need good offline sales to do well in China.

I hope they release new ones soon because their upper game is now completely outdated by Xiaomi/Redmi, Samsung, OnePlus, Honor. I have an M10 and will update soon.

                        Apple went from 37% in 2023 to 35,8% in 2024 so there was not a strengthening but a weakening market share.

                            should put in MacOS/ iOS with 5Gsim Call and GPS too.
                            iPadOS is not the best of both worlds, missing software support, missing whatssap, etc.

                              Even though Apple sold more tablets, so did others. They cannot "strengthen" their market share by -1.2%, from 37% last year to 35.8% - their share lowered. What kind of logic did you apply to get the growth from market share perspective?
