I don't think this is true. Why another screen change after the whole iphone 5 fiasco where all developers had to stretch their apps to fit the new resolution. I mean they could keep the resolution,but that would bring the ppi down.

I think the physical size of the iPhone is ideal. I also don't think this rumor is true. Although, if Apple were to up the size of their screen slightly, they could do so by eliminating some of the bezel from around the screen. Doing so could allow for a .3" increase in diagonal screen size, while also retaining the "ideal" form factor of how the iPhone fits in the user's hand. I wouldn't be surprised to see it on an iPhone 6, but not on an iPhone 5S.

The more important is GPU, its going to have quadcore graphics. Where you need cpu speed when Apple devices already are very very fast? they work faster than those quadcore androids. So why add more expensives parts if there's no much of use for them?
like i said its much more important to upgrade GPU. Se devs can made even better and better looking games.

Whatever happened to the perfect size for one handed operation? Oh well. You gotta do what you gotta do. But if its gonna be wider, that would be 1 more column for apps. But the aspect ratio would be awkward.
