    Rigid OLED is weaker than LCD, that's the issue.
    Meanwhile... is rumoured that Matepad Air uses Kirin 8000

      Anonymous, 06 Aug 2024Why would that standardise rigid oled on entry-level phones?Because if you can put two layers of OLED on a phone's display (and I know it's not twice as expensive, because of the way in which it works, but still), then it means that OLED costs have come way down, because otherwise it would be very cost-prohibitive to have tandem OLED on flagships.

            Finally, more products with a tandem OLED display. I can't wait until it's a standard thing on flagship phones, and that would also standardise Rigid OLED on very low-end phones.
