Just 6 months too late and at dead on arrival prices. If neither of these points change (they would need it out within a week or two internationally), it's not gonna make a dent in samsungs sales.
Sadly so, cos proper competition would be good for for the situation at whole

The whole article misses giving information on which country it will be released in except China. Yet the title says international. Comapnies like honor, xiaomi etc are releasing phone in 2-3 european contries and calling it an international lunch! What a joke!

I just changed from my 2018 Huawei Mate 20X 4G to a OnePlus Open. Very good price. My 20X was showing it's age. ( Low resolution, OS 10,;a little slow on processing speed, camera tech.) I know Huawei and Honor are related. I tried hard to wait for the new Honor. But it is what it is. I'm sure the global V3 will run about $1,799.00 l. How ever I'm very happy with this Open fold. I seen a test on the SD gen 2 vs Gen 3. Not that much of a difference)
I expected buying something out the front door a new product is coming in the back door.

The trade in doesn't require to send the phone so you were free to send it in elsewhere for cash so it was substantially cheaper than the galaxy fold for sure.
I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up around £1000 - £1200 again if you sign up for the newsletter before launch. So it could be cheaper than your Chinese room import WITH a valid UK warranty and less faff to insure if you do (as not a grey import) along with working android auto, android wear support and HDR for streaming apps.
I'm holding fast for September 5th when it should be announced so shouldn't be anything like the wait we had with the V2 for UK launch.

I really want this phone, just announce the date already! In the meantime can someone dissuade me getting a Chinese ROM version (I'm in the UK)
