Very misleading naming. Hard to justify not using at least A78 cores in (almost) 2025. Even Qualcomm has moved their low end stuff to these cores.

So only difference is 200 MP support. Isn't it too late for the party considering that 50 MP is becoming a standard among every segment?

PanRT, 07 Aug 2024MTK is Awesome on CPU in High-end but G100 is trash. Who need? On the contrary, I think it is a decent chip for entry level $100 phones. A76 cores are decent enough and 6nm manufacturing process is still relevant.
We just had a phone unveiled (Realme 13) which has A73 cores. Now that is trash!
