Realme confirms launch date for 300W charging

It is on August 14, in time for the 828 Realme fan festival.

Surprised that they're announcing this. The Realme GT Neo6 went from 240W to 120W, Redmi's 210W Note 12 Discovery Edition didn't get a sucessor, an Iqoo went from 200W to 120W too. Also, Oneplus have up their 150W charging. I think the highest charging wattage phones released recently are Motorola's 125W Edge 50 models, and I think they're not even that effitient.

        Honestly using Motorola edge 40 pro and using only a 125W charger i had in box with my phone after a year of use my battery capacity is at 93% and the batery endurance is still great even when heavy gaming.
        Before had Mi 11 lite 5G and using a 67W xiaomi charger had zero issues with my phone even after 2 years and charging from flat to 100% too around half hour.
        With my current phone is less than 20 minutes.

        All i wanted to say instead of many unexperienced people who are scared to use this tech becaue it overkill batery i am the real life proof it will not overkill battery.
        All that makes damage to a battery its heat not a charging speeds.
        In case of 300W your phone gets topped so fast it does not even get to a warm temperature before the battery will tick i am fully charged please unplug the charger.
        Those who are afraid of light should remains in dark sin some cold dark murky gloomy and creepy cave.

            Well visor were possible but is 10 times more expensive than Metaquest 3 and 10 times worse in every aspect.

              10 years ago were common that batteries afloat especially in feature like phones.
              We are no longger in 2009-2015 era its 2024 now.
              Those batteries are miles ahead from what they were 10-15 years ago.
              Speaking from my own experience.

                Sporting Motorola edge 40 pro with a 125W charger packed in box since july 2023 and using only this charging speeds battery endurance is still perfectly fine at 93% of capacity after 13 months. Had zero issues with charging or phone or battery.
                Its not an overkill not now for new glacier type of batteries and for other technologicaly advanced batteries which will not go LiPo or LiLon there are countless of other much better options.

                  Realme is getting 300watts 🗿
                  Meanwhile new iPhone 16 series and Galaxy s25 series is 40watts 🤡

                    Enough of this 300 watts charging nonsense!

                      While I do think that 300W or even 240W is overkill, it's so funny to me how they manage to reach these speeds while apple and samsunv are still at 27 and 45w charging max

                            im eagerly waiting for this breakthrough
                            i ve been using the infinix zero ultra but
                            i ve never turned on its 180 watt charge

                            but suprisingly it still charges in around 30mins time
                            i would nt want to wait long er than 30mins actual ly
