If your business is founded on monetizing peoples private data, then something can't be good about your business (sic regarding Google) - not a direct word for writing but something to that effect I think could be wrong.
Funny 2 days ago I read a thread on Macrumors.com asking would it's Mac centered users if they'd pay for Apple Intelligence. Not a lot said they would.

I'm too intelligent f... moreFor me AI is stealing data and copyrighted works and then selling that data and material without any compensation to the data or copyright owner. Doesn't seem that much different to what Google and Facebook have been doing. The only difference is the novelty of the chatbot being able to somewhat hold a conversation.

The only Apple intelligence is them charging more money for any possible thing.
In future they will even charge you money for breathing apple air. 1usd plus taxes for fresh breathable recycled non toxic ecologic pure air and they will come up with apple logic to make it sound that they are saving earth.

This is probably how it went: "Let's start a rumor it'll cost 20 bucks per month and they won't be as upset when we announce it at 15 bucks a month".
You know, the software feature they'll try to force on you iPhone owners because they deliberately design phones for zero future proofing. 1,500 buck phones, designed to not last one major software update.

LOL. I'm not relying on AI. I'm too intelligent for that. AI will steal our future, our work, our education, our skills, and who knows -- our identity, and etc.., We need to put an early stop to this ridiculous technology. Just my two cents.

Netflix subscribers whined about paid tier with ads but then nothing happened. Majority still allowed themselves to be screwed.

Just saying that as a service it is still very much in development, but I do think its inevitable that a price tag of some sort will eventually be introduced.

Same with Google and Gemini, heck even Amazon are said to be looking to expand Alexa and charge for it. So I fully expect Apple to follow suit in some fashion, eventually.
Most probably it'll be a higher tier of the Apple One subscription that contains Apple AI, that would be my guess. And who knows whether Apple will have any more success charging for advanced AI features than any of their competitors 🤷
