It's not even that much smaller than the HTC One: [132 x 63.2 x 9.25] vs [137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm], only half a cm shorter and thinner.

And what is... moreFlaws of one mini:
1. the size is too big compared to the normal one.
2. No sd card with a small 16gb... (Just like HTC DNA)
3. low end specs compared to other similar sized phone.
Only way to redeem itself is .. price. It has to be price cheap .. maybe 200$

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2013 I want this phone. Looks great. But it isn't. You'd be better off with the One S, it has a better CPU and a better camera. Oh, and it's cheaper. A phone that was made like a flagship but is cheap is better than a phone that was built from the ground up to be cheap. It's cheaper than the S4 mini, which is good, but it's worse.

Why do the mini versions have to lack so much?
And what is with HTC? A lithium Polymer batterie's greatest advantage is that they hold higher capacities in smaller forms. But Somehow HTC always manages to use a non removable one "which is supposed to even further benefit the capacity" and does so in thicker phones, but somehow still manages to use a smaller one? Apple does the same thing. WHY??????
It's kind of odd how the mini gets gorilla glass3 while the One has gg2. Nice for the mini though.

The phone is near perfect. Its somthing I would have ditched my S3 for except for the lack of memory card slot. My S3s on board 16gb of memory was used up within 2 months of owning the phone. So non expandable memory is not an option unless there was a 64gb version. Even 32gb wont suffice imo.

I can remember when i brought a 4.3" SGS2 and got plenty of comments about how big it was ..... now 4.3" is a mini device... :-)
I am now on a 5.5" note 2 and its pretty close to the perfect size... maybe 5.7-6.0" in the same size body.

Ohhh my further reading reveals 16gb with no microsd and any ideas on lte? With that battery size it wont survive a day at all.
Not sure if i want this now...geez what a bummer unless price is low but i doubt it will be.
