The buds are perfect, but you have to use ldac. turn off all not essential functions not use nothing application eq, and use some third party player with good EQ...like I'm using Poweramp...or on lg phone it is direct company player.... Adjust them (because they are Very pre tuned to v shape) and they are clear and good in separation of instruments...ldac only of course.

Got the CMF Buds Pro 2 from Aliexpress. What I recieved is a capable and apparent product by Nothing but with a difference. The Smart Dial is not a Smart Dial at all. It doesn't perform any fuction (I checked and I'm aware that its function does not get configured by default but the Nothing X App does nothing of what the Support page indicates in order to configure it. Having a closer look the dial side surface is smooth while in photos it appears corrugated. It runs freely and doesn't have any step when rotated. Also it does not have the lighted lines in the face. Another thing I noticed is tjat it does not have too much volume when totally up. I'm thinking I got a fake product or there are two different editions. In other aspects it works well and "looks" like an original product, it is recognized perfectly by the Nothing X app on Android.

xPandamon, 11 Aug 2024Is it? That part glossy part matte blue makes them look way... moreYes. Still subjective.

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2024depends on brand & useage, i still have a 2015 sony ear... moreThe ones with replaceable cables are fine. Otherwise the cable dies pretty quick if you use them daily.

There are also fairbuds with replaceable batteries.

No measurements, no frequency graph in a so called review of an audio product is so incomplete.
And also nothing about latency. I'm sensitive to lag while gaming so this is the most important aspect of a bluetooth earphone.
                Cmon GsmA, do better.

If you want actual good sounding TWS on a budget, I'd look into the chi-fi companies instead (e.g. moondrop, KZ, etc).

Looked good until I saw there's no AptX. I would've rather had low latency than "high quality" audio over Bluetooth, which is already a misnomer.

Also there are now some wired headphones that have replaceable cables so you can buy that instead if your a wreckless user.

wireless earbuds on the otherhand battery depletes after a year or two & arent user replaceable meaning e-waste.

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2024Lol looks like a cheap clone. It sure looks cheap, fair enough, but I cannot see how it is copying anything.

Just ordered, excited to try them out! Love the blue color. Much nicer than all the boring black and gray electronics on the market right now.

I dunno, it's not amazing but it's a plus.

IpsDisplay, 11 Aug 2024I'm not sure what environment your in But to me it ... moreI definitely agree with your comment more than my own looking back on it and I should have worded it better or thought it out more before posting.

The point you raised about stigma is more or less what I was alluding to and when it comes to Nothing and CMF that might be putting some users off purchasing. I might be wrong though.

Snapdragon 695 hater, 11 Aug 2024What I've realised with CMF specifically is that even ... moreI'm not sure what environment your in

But to me it seems like the general public couldn't care less about "professional" looking and toy looking smart phone

When you see how colorful most smartphone cases are with anime designs , gems all over the place

Smartphones are so Normal they are practically invisible people may glance for 3 seconds and then mind Thier own business

This stigma you might be alluding to ironically is present in software like blue bubble Vs green bubble

And verification check marks on social media

But that toy criticism seems super niche to me

Honestly even that manager comment I see subordinates more so complain about competency of their leadership Vs brightly colored ear buds I dunno
Maybe I'm living in a different world or something

does anybody know is the dial can be used when the buds are out? or is it relying on the buds Bluetooth instead of having it's own

xPandamon, 11 Aug 2024Yeah the joke about their names meaning did not elude me ei... moreThe main thing that interests me about them is the click wheel. It's not as good as having physical buttons on the earbuds, but it seems better than having to always use touch controls for everything.
