WhatsApp testing Community group chat event duration feature on Android

Most of the social media apps and websites were useful like 10 years ago.
Now all of them are filled with junk.

    How about... improving your status quality???

      This app is getting more and more bloated and needlessly convoluted.

        As a rather vocal hater of Whatsapp i must admit that I find the community features helpful.
        I use it to organize events and gatherings with my friends.
        You can announce something like Who wants to go see Deadpool and members of the community can subscribe to that event in a group when interested.

          just make it into a normal chatting app, not adding crap like this.

            WhatsApp now similar to social network rather than messaging services. Channel, community group, and maybe in future add API and wallet functionality, like Telegram. 👎
