Is it me or is there literally no point in buying samsung phones because they make so many models you know the next one will be coming out in a few months?

The s24 came out in January and we're already on the s24fe. No point getting this now just wait until the s25 comes out to get this on discount.

Someone please enlighten. What is the difference between this and S21 FE ?

CPU GPU - gen improved which is okay (same experience)
cameras - 50 MP main vs 12 MP main (tiny cells is downgrade for low light photography) other cameras same

    RAM - same - 8 GB
    Storage - same - 128 / 256
    display - same - 1080p dynamic AMOLED 120Hz
    battery - same - 4500 mAh
    frame - same - aluminium
body - expanded - width , weight , height (unwanted that too without big battery)

comparing to S23 FE is hilarious because every detail is same without chipset

What imagination? It same looking as 30 another Samsung phone. Battery is small too. Color versions are little bit good. Samsung stop imagining, start creativity

"Samsung will advertise it with a battery life of up to 78 hours for music playback"

78 hours, on Loudspeaker? Bluetooth earphone? USB-C headphone? Active or passive?
It doesn't have 3.5mm jack, so what's this vague battery figure about?

And who measures battery life of a smartphone by audio playback?

Anyhow, a missing jack is easily taken care of by one adaptor, but a microSD has no decent solution. I hope it gains a microSD slot, given than some phones have started getting it back (alongwith repairability and all).

It seems that the S24+ position is already gone.

the A55 ain't that good of a phone yet I'm sure the S24 FE is gonna make the A55 look like the best value phone of this generation.

They would have used 7+ Gen 3 instead of Exynos 2400 lower clocked version.

Should have used at most 6.5" screen.

                      It's a S24+ FE since it's just a trimmed down S24+
The 24+ is the least selling S device though to reduce the risk of product sales cannibalism they choose not to offer a more affordable compact sized S24 FE or S24 Ultra light.
