Two tech Youtubers from Nigeria already unboxed and/or reviewed the tablet and it's clear that the 8GB RAM variant is the only one that matters.
Price tag for the variant 4GB RAM + 256GB storage and WIFI only connection costs N251,800 (Nigeria currency), something around $157, according to them.

XPAD is just a good tablet overall. Its not like the charging speed, cameras, and 5G connectivity. It is good recommend for students, at least 90hz refresh rate is technically smooth enough. But you'll also get your job done

In the tablet space, even such a cheapo thingy has an all aluminum build, while many phones in the $300-400 bracket have plastic frames. Not complaining just mentioning. Also, it’s so weird to me when companies unveil a product without mentioning the price. At this level of specs, that’s like the single most important piece of information.

If this tablet comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and price around 200 USD max (or so). I'll definitely buying it for media consumption.

Would love to see the race to the bottom with pricing of future products.

it's so good that there are more and more cheap tablets now... and Infinix is also making them. I don't really need a tablet, I prefer a laptop.
