I'm sorry, but those corners on the Fold 9 are way, way, waaaaay too rounded off. It's a display. Content exists in corners, too, Google.

So basicly, Samsung is still the main factor in that "custom built SoC" buzz word.

Bravo someone with the same set of stones and brain intelligence to realize it's poor failure is NOT Samaung Foundry's fault - even for previous iterations.
It's the poor chip design and design choices by Google's team! Now ita time for the kids to recognize this infallible truth.

Snapdragon 695 hater, 12 Aug 2024As usual whole phone has been leaked before the keynote. Exactly.
This is just like Apple, internally ans intentionally leaks details of the phone. Apple is better at doing it though, leaking components during the final validation process at every stage just in case major or overwhelming feedback can affect sales then slight adjustments are made - but NOT to hardware so close to assembly ans production. Those contracts are written in blood pretty much (stocks & cash).
Google does it to hype a product up to gain sales. This year the hardware is worth it when it comes to the phones; previous years it was the buds. This year Flip da script.
Honestly when will Google take theie headphones more seriously and stop trying to make them look like gum!? The tech is good, but it looks like someone chewed 3 pieces of Hubba Bubba took it out with spit and shoved them to dry in your ears!!
What's the point spending money and taking corporate resources away from real productivity to announce products when every minuscia of the products has been leaked 3x over already. Those that want to buy it have already made up theie minds. Those that won't, won't. Those that need to know or convincing shouldn't be considered cause if they don't know about it or haven't made up theie minds either A: don't have inter et or B: can't afford it, don't need what the product offers or just have no reason to switch or upgrade = case closed.
Save the money and return to productivity Google, you have way too many employees tripling the same work loads that it's not even for redundancy. Waste of $$$ & Time for an announcement at this stage! Do ans USE what you do best for these products Google = use the web, and Advertise!

Although I applaud for Google’s attempt in experimenting AI/ML in the Pixel user experience, we cannot deny that it’s running on an SiC that’s even worse than Exynos. If Samsung can do a decent job with the Exynos 2400, Google’s inability to match the efficiency with their Tensor chip seems to show the issue with the chip design.

Let me riddle you this, Batman. What has outdated camera sensors, weakest SoC out of all modern SoCs that barely completes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 128GB storage, but costs €1100?

It would be great if the Pixels were equipped with a Snapdragon chipset and they would be almost unbeatable in the Android world, but I hope the Tensor chipset of the new Pixels has matured.

SLIM phones I don't care for them. But, I think they do it because people can use them single handed. I'd prefer a WIDER phone, to prevent ldiots from texting and driving.
