                Been waiting for a compact flagship android tablet for so long now!
                I dont mind the LCD screen, but the low battery capacity is a worry (somewhat made up for by pass-through charging), even the price is quite decent imo, hopefully in sales it drops closer to 30k, which would be much easily justifiable!

                But why the heck is nobody talking about why they ffs killed the 3.5mm HP jack on a "gaming" tablet, this absolutely kills it for me, I would have otherwise seriously considered it, because I loved and wanted the previous gen. w/ SD870 but it was not sold here, and I dont have any xp of importing from Giztop or other sites, so was hesitant.

                        Lenovo sells Tab P12 with a Mediatek Dimensity 7050 256 GB variant for INR 26k.
                        Yeah, 8+ Gen1 is a bit old but not outdated. selling a tab with 2x USB C ports and SD card expandability from less than 30k would be a dream and steal of a deal but you have to understand that there is no other tab like this in the market. Not even the supposedly pro tabs come with 2 USB ports.

                        You could expect that price cut if there was a newer variant out, but this is all we get between the trade war between India and China.

                        TBH the price does not turn me away, I wish the 512 GB variant was available too.

                        You can buy from Giztop for a cheaper price though, but you will probably end up paying the same or more with shipping and customs duty.

                          8+ gen 1 is still very good and powerful chip for gaming. Still better then 7+ gen 2 that have nerfed gpu and features support. 7+ gen 3 maybe have a bit more performance but wont support a lot of things that SD 8 series is supporting

                          SD 7+ gen 2/3 are just the weird middle class chips from Snapdragon that have high performance you wont see in any other even come close. Also it seems a not a lot of these chips get devices. Like 7+ gen 2 was only in 2 Xiaomi phones for different markets and one from Realme. 7+ gen 3 is in more devices but still not a lot of them. Even SD 8s gen 3 is in more devices and will probably be the next SD870 that was in lot of devices. Even that SD870 have enough performance still now to run every game on the market with no issues.

                          Games also cant get more power consuming cause the market is in majority probably at 60-70% full of these devices that are around 250.000-700.000 points range in antutu v10 as G99 and SD695 are around 400.000. Something like 7s gen 2 and SD778 is around 600.000 while 8+ gen 1 is around 1.300.000

                            I guess at the moment this is the only true flagship 8 inch android tablet. Last one in my opinion which went global was the Huawei Mediapad M5 8.4 loved mine. Might get this one for Christmas.

                                  Unfortunately 8 plus gen 1 is outdated and is longer considered a flagship gaming chipset. They should launch a new one with 8 gen 3.

                                      And while I am used to chinese prices in china being low because they are subsidised, and fact taxes are higher in Europe.

                                      Double the price (it did drop to around 510 euro now) is ridiculous.

                                      Especially because Xiaomi 6S Pro and Galaxy Tab S9 are just 50 euro more (now because of tge price drop 60 euro more, Lenovo dropped it harder than usually here)

                                        This thing has 2 usb ports, display out and sd slot, and huge vapour chamber, pretty good as gaming/emulation machine. Would have been perfect with 8sg3/7+g3 and a bit bigger battery.
