Dono, 16 Aug 2024The Samsung S23 FE has really surprised me and impressed me... moreThe specs and build seemed good, but those large bezels was an immediate NO for me. Don't want no budget phone vibes every time I look at it...
Also, the weight and size was a bit too much. But compared to the Ultra size, I can see how it wouldn't be a problem.

Can someone please tell me what is going on with the S series mobile phones please? They along with the S21 FE are supposed to be flagship phones that last longer and are dependable and durable. Why are SAMSUNG's A series midrange mobile phones getting a better longer lasting battery at 5000 mAh, and meanwhile, we S series flagship phone owners only received a smaller battery for more money? The A16 has typical battery capacity of 5000 mAh but the new S24 FE's battery capacity is 4000 something mAh? My S21 FE 5G (which is very nice) only has a battery capacity of 4500 mAh. Isn't the flagship phone supply to get the better battery considering it's more expensive than a midrange mobile phone?

The Samsung S23 FE has really surprised me and impressed me coming from the S21 Ultra which was awsome so I thought I'd try a midranger and am happy with everything except for no charging brick or clear case which is pathetic cost cutting and makes me sick .
The S23 FE is pretty bloody awesome in every way and I would advise it to anyone.

only area where sd have an advanteage is the upoload speed 2550 vs 3500
other than that 2400 is good.
but this chip will be slighty capped by samsung.

What's the point beside the already discounted S24+ for another phone with a same size, but inferior screen with thicker bezels, smaller battery, same processor, probably less RAM, probably optical fingerprint scanner, etc? who is the target audience?

If they keep launching it with Exynos then I won't be buying my next phone from them. I have my s21fe which I absolutely love, everything about is great & nice but that damn exynos chipset keeps heating like hell especially in my (sub tropical region). I would probably change to Vivo's V series as I want a good camera phone under budget.

Too bad it went from a viable cheaper alternative to the small/compact mainline S series, to now being another giant brick like the A series!
