Agreed. GSMarena should somehow track each company's performance as far as meeting their commitments on upgrades. It's just plain wrong that so many of these companies tell everyone that the OS will be upgradeable and then the upgrade never happens.
In fact, I would like to see GSMARENA take the "upgradeable" information off the page for each phone's specifications. It's not a spec, the OS the phone ships with is a spec. Any information about it being upgradeable is a comment from the company that is not a commitment. It's not uncommon for the upgrade to never happen.

Your phone will never get updated to 4.2. And this coming December my GS2 is getting updated to Android 4.3, skipping 4.2 and that's official.

Don't particularly care for LG UI but if this is the basis for the Nexus 5, then definitely getting the Nexus 5!

Samsung phones are mostly UGLY and looks CHEAP CHINESE TOYS,
S3 ,Note, NOTE2,MEGA,S4......
No changes and still looks plastic cheap shape and design...

LG is not like the other, just add little feature + minor update and claim it as 4.2.2
LG 4.1.2 is pack of goodie software,FYI LG UI 3.0 is first launcher who make me stay at stock, fast smooth, rich feature. Other UI is ugly and i always use Nova, but not this time.
Don't compare with Nexus device, Stock android is more ugly, boring and plain. Even LG ICS, offer more feature then 4.2.2 stock google.
