idea a cool. once you unfold, you can get the benefit of using all the screen estate available on the phone. in current form factors, outer screen is obsolete when you unfold the phone. however, the durability concerns still exist and will get even worse in a triple-folding device. looks like the only reliable hinge in the market is still exclusive to samsung fold.

This looks quite good ... can`t wait to see it, though buying a Huawei device outside of China these days isn`t super appealing. Wish the US would un-ban them. Hopefully if this goes well we will see it released as an Honor phone next year :D

If this phone is 13 mm when folded and comes with 5.5k mah+ battery it's a winner in my books. But depends on the screen size, is it gonna be barely 8 inches or 9 inches+? I personally am after something around 10 inches, that's gonna be a huge upgrade compared to an average phone while watching films or videos.
Or at least fix the aspect ratio of foldables, the current ones are too boxy/square-ish, videos are made in a rectangular format like 16:9, 18:9 or 21:9. The only thing this format is good for is like 4:3 content or something. I tried out someone's Fold 5 and videos just looked so bad bruh black bars felt like they took up more space than the video itself.
