There will be two versions, SM8750 and SM8750P. The "P" presumably stands for "performance".

I don't know anything about cars but as you already know, Droids are not considered "luxury devices" like those sports cars you mention. The iPhone would be like a sports car.                         emulation is an extremely cool use of all that power. And the cool thing about peak power is that if you go for higher peak powers you generally get better low-power performance as well, efficiency in other terms.

                        The difference between Tensor and SD does matter. Photo processing times have always been long in Google phones. They're gonna be shorter now but they're gonna be even shorter on Qualcomm phones. I'm talking about photo editing stuff like lightroom. Getting hitching while trying to edit is an extremely inconvenient thing. What about "Pro" users who edit on their phones? If you buy a Pro phone, don't use Pro features and then say "people don't need it" then it's on you. Power can be used in a lot of ways on an android phone but most people tend to be ignorant and don't want it because all they want is to record in 1080p (usually the default in a lot of phones/most people like to save space), play candy crush and use soc med. I'm not saying they're wrong in doing that necessarily, they're wrong in only doing that but saying other people expect too much by wanting too much power or it's unnecessary.

                        If companies never wanted to push for power, we'd keep getting SD 8 Gen 1 level disasters. You'd have loved it ig.

My point was to show that the difference between 8 Gen 4 and Tensor G4 does not matter because There is no real use for all that "power" anyway.

Then there's the stress that games put a mobile phone that wouldn't be nearly as impactful to a laptop, or better, desktop tower that has active cooling and more area to dissipate heat.

Apple do have them though, which barely attracts any masses. As they not designed to play on touchscreens, they are ports of console games. Mobile phones litteraly are just incapable of having comfortable PC gaming or console gaming, small screens no controllers. Developers long ago figure that out and abandoned any complex mobile gaming mechanics. Leave hardcore gaming for PC and consoles, mobiles are not place for them.

With 8 gen 4 using on switch, with developers optimizations you will be able to play any modern game with 720p resolution. 8 gen 4 is probably 20 times more powerful CPU wise than Switch chipset And at least 6 times more powerful GPU wise.
