            That would be great feature, so there's no unauthorized entity will clone your conversation, and it'll protect your privacy against nasty trash people.

Using just phone number was among the biggest pro and draw of WhatsApp. An edge over BBM. It's also natural progression from SMS/MMS which it was to compete with. Does people wishing to send you SMS or MMS need your phone number or username? Is username is what you want, then use telegram. Should be very simple and straightforward!

                        Funny thing is that some of you would still criticize WhatsApp if it adds the option of being messaged using only username. For the record, I'd like WhatsApp to add that option.
