Anonymous, 21 Aug 2024This seems to be a company that's permanently stuck in... moreNokia phones are cheaper than all other brands for third world countries with consistent exchange rate fluctuations.
Not a surprise why the Tecno Spark Go series devices are expensive in comparison to Nokia's C32.

As an old N9 owner I would love the skyline or this, but they have to unlock the bootloader so we can flash them ourselves once they stop updating them.

Will not invest in a phone that will be useless after 3 years.

Par But Nokia has to make the hardware of its phone flagship, like if the phone is for Rs 500 then it should have Snapdragon 8G processor otherwise no one will buy the phone

lybad, 21 Aug 2024They never acquired Nokia - they just licence the name,Whatever you want to call it, you got what I mean.

Bruh, usually hmd and nokia by hmd phones are so frickin expensive (for what its offers at the given price) to the point (the similar priced) samsung phones looks like a bargain! Lol 🤣

YUKI93, 21 Aug 2024Maybe there will be a direct successor to the Nokia 9 PureV... moreIt will be a successor, only if the brand name NOKIA is on the phone. Too bad they decided to go all-in on HMD branding.

Well honestly waiting for a phone which will looks like a Nokia 9 Pureview with latest SD 8 gen 4, 24GB ram, 7500 mAh cell with 100-120W chrging speeds and a 5 1 inch or 2 inch sensor cameras on its back with a200 Mpix resolution or at least 50 each. Also 2x front camera of one will be ultravide with also 50+ Mpx ideally 200mpix.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2024Allegedly there is a Skyline G2 that has a large camera bum... moreInteresting. Not sure why everyone isnt using much larger sensors.

YUKI93, 21 Aug 2024Maybe there will be a direct successor to the Nokia 9 PureV... moreThat would be great. Its sad that there aren't more players in the Smartphone market, especially outside of China, the US and Korea

I was not happy with skyline because then phone is only 6.55 and has overheating problem, camera was not al good, i send it back, best Nokia phone was Nokia 1520, was 85 mm width and only 6 inch but big phone, Nokia 8.3 was also oke but no update and 4 years old

This doesn't look anything like the legendary Nokia N9.

If they want to copy the design then just make it slim along with high screen to body ratio that's it.

It could be a Pro version with more RAM and, hopefully, better chipset. €599 for Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is somewhat asking too much, especially when HTC can sell the U24 Pro with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 for €564 and you still get both headphone jack and microSD card slot.

HMD should solely concentrate on Camera and Battery life. Like a 3 large sensor camera smartphone with excellent photo and video capabilities. Could be an ultrawide, wide and 3x zoom.

They can't even copy the design properly. It doesn't look as good as the N9.

This seems to be a company that's permanently stuck in the past, cannot compete with other smartphone manufacturers in terms of software services or hardware offerings and critically overprices all its products. I'm frankly surprised they haven't gone bankrupt yet... I cannot imagine they make any sort of sales in Asia or America or Europe, I'm unfamiliar with what the market looks like in Africa, but if they hold the same pricing strategy there, I cannot imagine Africans wanting to pay higher prices for substandard hardware either... Up until 5 years ago, all my phones ever were Nokia, right now, as far as I'm concerned, they don't exist anymore. It's literally either all garbage or all priced 50% more than it's worth compared to competitor's offerings.

It's a nice design ...would be great if they use it more.
