Dis is d best i know

Continue to discuss the details of S25 Ultra
Compared to S24Ultra, the body width has been reduced to 77.6mm, which is the same as the iPhone 16 Pro Max.Thanks to the reduced border, the screen reaching 6.86 inches.

The reason for Samsung change is the S25 Ultra (February 2025) will be comparable to the iPhone 16 Pro Max September 2024

Now I see it (actually I don't) Apple is however rumoured to be changing the phones dimensions, they bear no relation to Ice Universe ramblings

The Ultra have sported the same dimensions since S22U
Has anyone looked at an actual ruler to see what these Fractions of millimetres (ha) look like

When in September the Pro Max dimensions are released you will get an indication that this latest prediction is one night he couldn't sleep

What he has again NOT provided is what the actual screen to body ratio will be AFTER. Let alone the screen resolution since S22U hasn't changed

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2024my biggest drain is tiktok, i don't game, i mostly use... morehmm thanks for this. It seems the X100 Ultra isn't the best at battery life. I wonder though, do you really mean 24 hours or just 12 hours? Like do you literally mean you charge at 8 am let's say and you're talking about having 5-6 hours of SOT and 30-35% left the next day at 8 am?

If yes then it's not bad considering the fact that after so long the standby drain would be like eating up at least 10-20%. And I don't really trust accubattery, it's quite buggy and says weird stuff on my phones. I used an M31 for a few months and then now I'm using an S22 Ultra for 2 years and I've never been able to trust it. But if I were to believe it, that's good battery life, but again it's not amazing.

The X100 Pro seems to have better battery life, the screen res must've contributed to it. Considering the slower charging and worse battery life, the X100 Ultra really ain't all that imo. I kept waiting after the release of the X100 Pro to see how the Ultra is gonna be and it came too late with too little for me at least. Hope the next one's global and just as good as the X100 Pro and with a variable aperture.

Now I ain't saying the X100 Ultra is bad, just disappointing at least to me. Have fun with your device man, it's a banger overall fr

I usually charge the phone to 85% and after 24 hours it has 30-35% left with 5-6 hours of SoT. You can easily get 2 days of battery life on light usage with 100%.
For ex right now accubattery is telling me that i have 13 hours since last charge, 4h30m screen of time with a total of 40% battery drain.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2024The S24 Ultra has better battery active use score than the ... moremore powerfull soc? funny
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsYlHLHTIIQ look at min 6:13 what's samsung's benchmark score, samsung's cpu is slightly underclocked and honor's cpu is severely underclocked hence why the phone can barely do 1080p 24 fps cinematic.
you can notice x100 ultra loses a lot of battery trough the benchmarks because is a monster in cpu and gpu but at the cost of battery , now of course in real usage nobody is pushing their cpu to 100% load so overall it will have better battery life than s24 ultra, you can see from gsmarena battery tests that the x100 ultra has a bad score on gaming because it's pushing higher fps than samsung for sure so it has a higher cpu load

I'd give updates for 5 years too if I'd release 99% the same phone every year, is 1 update fits all.
And the ironic part is that I've been waiting since 2010 for samsung to fix their face unlock or keeping screen ON while looking at it and they are still as half baked today as they were 5 years ago(of course you don't know this if you never used those options on a proper phone ) so their updates don't really impress me

I like Ultra series of Samsung but maybe the screen size must be reduced like fitting in pocket is no way possible but this one ain't even fitting in my moms purse
Plus when they reduce screen size even ppi will increase
But yeah heating and battery could be affected if screen size decrease

Not to mention the full glass build and the titanium rails along with the big vapor chamber, how big the whole processor unit is, all that with IP rating and a cover on top of it all to dissipate heat and protect the outer layer? Buddy this isn't 2010. Even the S3 is often called heavy for the time.

Yay for thinner bezels. They should be eliminated all together and, don't forget the gagets incl smartwatches. Total waste of screen real estate.

                            A 0.15-centimeter difference is a big improvement, isn't it?
Again, the problem is the phone's weight. The current display has no problems at all, as most people are using phone cases that add volume and weight.

They demonize you and vilify Chinese brands because their fav reviewers, random online people and their fav brands propagandized them into believing this stuff so that they keep buying slop.

I have a question, on light usage and heavy usage, how much SOT do you get on your phone?

There hasn’t been a nice designed Ultra since the S21 Ultra. Rounded sides are gone.

Really looking forward to the bigger S25 ultra phone with beveled edges, currently working with the S 22 Ultra, it's been great.
