DarlingYext, 22 Aug 2024Anything below 65W is slow, plus that's not the proble... moreAgree. It slow. Why Infinix bother introduce 180w 260w two years ago. Then mid this year they introduce Note 40 Pro+ which got 100w. So i thought 100w will be standard for newest device but GT 20 Pro got 45w same as last year. Sadly Zero 40 5G also downgrade from 68w to 45w with no IR Blaster (if not mistaken) and the price in Malaysia will be Rm1699 compare to last year Zero 30 5G only cost Rm1299. Zero series should be ALL OUT tech from Infinix just like Zero Ultra.

They should at least use mediatek 9200 or mediatek 9200+ instead of the same chipset they have used in gt20 pro or at least add a dedicated sd card slot and have an improved ip rating for dust and water resistance.

      lmao what

It's a worse spec, so it's a downgrade. It's like saying their customers prefer Helio G99 over Snapdragon 8 Gen 2/3, so it wouldn't a downgrade to use the slower Mediatek chipset.

Ultra fast charging isn't something you have to use even if it's being offered, but you can't charge faster than what the phone supports. You can limit the charging speed of the Zero Ultra in the settings, or just use a different charging brick if you are worried about battery health, which you shouldn't be.

DarlingYext, 22 Aug 2024I felt the need to comment because it's been 2 years s... moreThe reason why I stated that you shouldn't just comment here since it's not within standards is this:

        1. Possibly the reason why their phones keep on getting downgrades is because most people prefer something else rather than the fast charging part of the phone.
        2. They do comment their suggestions as well BUT NOT HERE.
(They have a website for it, look it up and do a feedback there.)
        3. They're looking like a downgrade for you but a preferred specification from their loyal customers.
        4. Manufacturers tend to analyze if their best specification provided is not selling much. Therefore, they decided to switch it down and give the people hardware for a reasonable value.
        5. I may be talking BS.

I do not have the resources to prove these things but this is a thing I do where I look the manufacturer's and the consumer's perspectives, you should too. This skill is just a branch of our brains to connect to. If we want to, of course.

And, I don't plan to correct you on this nor hate you for it since GSMA did add a comments section for these types of things in which welcomes your thoughts about certain topics.

Lastly, I just stated for you to not comment your preference here since your comment is much more of an issue that is preferred to be directed to the manufacturers themselves so I advise you to visit their website(/s). So, capisce?

It looks promising, I hope it is available in the global market.

DarlingYext, 22 Aug 2024Anything below 65W is slow, plus that's not the proble... moreWell, based in my experience/usage, 45W isn't slow. I don't need to charge from 0% to 100% because I'm not a heavy user and I still have patience to wait while I'm doing other activities.

By far, the worst experience ever is using 18W "fast" charging.

30-33W should be the minimum for all phones, except those super ultra basic phones that obviously can't support it.

I understand your point about Infinix dropping such fast charging in newer generations of its Zero series thus, but I honestly doubt they will use it again.

IgorS, 22 Aug 202445W isn't slow. 15W/18W is.Anything below 65W is slow, plus that's not the problem here. The issue is that it's worse than last year with the Zero 30 and way worse than the 2 year old Zero Ultra.

What a joke. Phones should be getting better not worse.

Tip: Just look, and if not in your standards, move forward. It helps you save a bit of your time.

The phone boasts a 108 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide with a 120-degree field-of-view, and a 50 MP selfie camera.
so how many rear cameras in total? 2 or 3 or 4?

Miss the days of Zero X Pro having telephoto lens. They make up 90% of my photos in gallery. Guess I'll still stick with my Zero X Pro then :(
