i never use my real info to setup a phone and i will never use one to store banking let alone id info. the fact it doesn't sync is besides the point when google obviously hoover up all the meta data that wallet produces. i'll stick to creating a new account full of dummy info for every new phone.

I would never put any bank or ID cards on my phone. You already lose enough these days if your phone gets stolen! What next, passports?!

But people do silly things and trust everything to Google for what reasons ans lack of common sense I'll never understand.
It's not about tracking you it's about possible deep faking you with your voice print and picture and banking to loot. That's all they need.

you're just saving a digital copy on the Google servers which may already have that information since when you created the wallet account
