Agreeing with your point. I just think many ppl hate this Realme phone bcs it only has 4gb ram, but technically it's very sufficient for the basic tasks. Unisoc T612 is also more capable than the G37.

People hate cheap phones, but not all people can afford the expensive ones.
The Realme Note 50 in my country is priced at around $60. For basic stuff, it passes (but not stellar).
Some people just want good phones to use for online stuff, and not use all these AI shenanigans and powerhouses to the fullest. It targets a specific niche, which are developing (or have lesser purchase power on average) markets.

Also its rumoured to have a t612 SoC.In many markets (my turd world country included) nothing beats low price and many people who have to spend a full month's wage to get the cheapest phone available would rather buy a 4GB/64GB phone instead of a 8GB/256GB one for a few bucks more. Those few bucks count.
