I can buy one good/ two mediocre 100 inch TV's with that kind of money, what's the point of a $2500 projector when those other options exist?

100 inch tv screen is really small in comparison to that.
Once you get used to the 130-150 size, watching movies at 100 inches is painfull.
It's completety different experience.
Projector can really well replicate cinema experience, tv cannot do that.

Ultra thin 98 inch 4K TV with QLED HDR120 144Hz screen cost around 2.5-3K
So who would buy projector that is slower and barely visible during day for that price?
