The best SOC is on the iPad, but the reason why the don't AI at all is the RAM memory and the framework, but is it possible to change the framework in Europe? apple put at least 16gb or 32 , haha x86 windows is so ancient

Will it only for the Pro or all iPhone 17 models? If all 17 models get 12GB, then I would postpone purchasing the iPhone 16. I was already set on getting the 16 due to the increase to 8GB RAM, but if the 17 would get 12GB, if Apple would increase the RAM that quickly, that means Apple is serious, and they might drop support for iPhones with lesser RAM quicker than usual. And considering the prices of these phones, you don't want to be stuck with a model that will go obselete quicker than it supposed to just because of RAM.

And android phones without a virtual memory option don’t support swap either.

Nah Pros always get exclusive RAM upgrade first then the pleb phones get it the next year then repeat.
13 4GB + 13 Pro 6GB -> 14 all 6GB -> 15 6GB + 15 Pro 8GB -> 16 all 8GB -> 17 8GB + 17 Pro 12GB
I can "leak" how much RAM iPhone 20 will have ;)

More ram is nice I guess even if it’s not necessary because iOS is so memory efficient, but I honestly don’t care about Apple intelligence or any other ai feature

RAM in iPhones was always on the lowest edge and they trued to keep it like this with every generation. Just upgraded them slightly over the years.
Now I bet that the 12 GB RAM is also the lowest edge. So the iPhone 17 will be old in 2-3 years and the phones would need a much higher capacity.

Opening aps, browser takes longer, processing also takes longer on MacBook pro m3, I guess MacBook air would is even worse. Multitasking is just lagging.
Can't understand how 3000€ laptop is outperformed by cheap 400€ desktop that is build from spare parts...
