At 120usd which is this phone... moreLet's not forget how the Nokia G11 Plus retails more or less for 50 Euros from the same company itself, and is a much better deal compared to any phone at that price. It also runs errands around any Samsung 0x and 1x series phones released.

My s duos 3 with 512 mb ram does more than this overpriced kaios junk.And yeah it runs android 5 custom rom so i can use whatsapp,instagram,tiktok etc.

Quite wierd decision from HMD, makes no sense, but then again, their decisions lately are also wierd, like introducing a "new" brand with 3 low end devices instead one for each segment.

US version likely isn't getting Unisoc due to sanctions. Additionally, as always, the US price doesn't include sales tax (0-10% depending on your jurisdiction) while the EU/UK prices do include VAT. So the prices aren't that different, but the US gets a better product and value for money, hands down.

people who don't get why this product exist most likely don't have younger preteen kids. Some parents aren't comfortable giving their kids a smart phone because they don't want their kids to get hooked on social media. This fits the bill with being able to call and text. Like my sister who has a nine-year old needs a phone so she can call her parents after school to get picked up. My sister thinks she is too young to get a smart phone because she is not a fan of kids being obsessed with social media. I am pretty sure, my niece will most likely sporting one of these in the coming future.
