I'm still amazed that Craig still has his job, considering how buggy and screwed up iOS has been since iOS15 launch.

    Alright, then it's safe to buy the iPhone 16.
    My take:
    If you want a regular iphone, get the iPhone 16 (8GB RAM)
    If you want a Pro iPhone, get the iphone 15 Pro (will be cheaper than 16 Pro, more compact, same amount of RAM)
    If you want a Pro Max iPhone, wait for the 17 Pro Max (why pay premium for 16 Pro Max now with less RAM?)

            Apple needs to wake up and stop charging so much for the iPhones. They all look the same and are no longer a status symbol. Argue all you want but it’s true and I don’t wanna hear it.

                        It's likely the same just apple gimping it. M4 iPad base model has 2 6GB ram but is purposely reduced to 8 instead of 12.

                                I don't think there's anything wrong with 12GB of RAM.

                                I think 8GB RAM should be the bare minimum. When we look at mid range or budget android devices still opting to use 4GB RAM and not even going to 6GB RAM now that's a problem!

                                        A more optimised OS will use less ram. If apple wants to continue with mediocre ram values, they should at least optimise their OS to hold apps safely.
                                        To be honest, many android phones don't benefit from their ram values because of poor optimisation.
