I don't mind IPS at all but
G54 is 144 euro now for 8GB ram version here, and G84 has OLED and 12GB at 198 euro.
G55 for 249 euro is too much, and you still get one Android OS update.
Look at Samsung their OS support Motorola, 2 or 3 OS updates would be already better than 1 silly OS update.
Especially because now you (= Motorola) ask Samsung money for your devices.

You get a ultrawide and 30 watts charging on G55 compared to G54.
Newer chip is neglectably faster.
But 249 euro is SPICY pricing.
G54 with 256gb/12gb is 159 euro, Edge 50 is 270 euro now and Galaxy A55 284 euro.
I rather have the latter two at this price, or get the older G54 which is stuck on Android 14 (and G55 is only gettin update to A15 so...)

I've said it loads of time before but the G34 and G84 have much more to offer. It's a shame these don't offer more. Motorola took 2 steps back and 1 step forward.

For those wondering, the Dimensity 7025 is essentially the Dimensity 1080 with a PowerVR IMG BXM-8-256 GPU instead of the Mali Mali-G68 MP4 GPU found inside the Dimensity 1080.
The PowerVR GPU performs worse than the Mali-G68 (~80K vs 110K GPU score on Antutu v10)
