It's a pretty rare occurrence, something like this.

Inedian, 30 Aug 2024Exactly... 66W is more than fast enough, let alone 90W.Honestly, even 45W is pretty good, its not too fast but a mid charge speed should be more than enough

HatingEqually, 30 Aug 2024Well I prefer FuntouchOS over OriginOS anyway so 🤷‍♀️I prefer OriginOS, it's more feature rich than Funtouch

If the battery was less, I'd understand the limitation.

This is more capacity therefore each battery will have more capacity to handle so i believe it should be possible by keeping the same charging speed.

And the new technologies are mainly focusing on the longevity of the batteries featuring less wearing in time therefore more years to keep the original capacity like having grephene, silicon carbon etc. in them.

It's not like pushing batteries with 320w charger. Simply keeping the same shouldn't be a big issue.

I'm just thinking from the marketing perspective(justifying the plus and ultra) or trying to cut expense.

                We'll understand in time.

Would be nice if phone manufacters let us choose the charging speed in the settings. Like i have 90 watt brick but would like to charge 66 watt or 30 watt. Something like that

PatrickCzech, 30 Aug 2024Still better then XOS, HiOS and HyperOSAs someone who's used XOS, sure its update policy is blurry, but even by then I can say it runs quite well. You've got a lot of pre-installed apps from the get go, but you can just uninstall them if that bothers you (this does mean, however, enabling developer options)

90W is still more than overkill. Don't act as if everyone needs 120W. Even 66W is still more than plenty.

Vivo x90 pro plus user here.

Even though, I'm satisfied with the device, doesn't mean that I have to defend the companies strategy lowering the charging speed.

I see some Vivo lovers in the comments talking about Samsung, Apple. Sure Vivo is definitely better. But you should judge things in its context without being a 'FANBOY'.

The battery size increases meanwhile charging speed is decreasing which means more time will be required charge the big battery im the device.

This should receive critics. Not defense!

Vivo does sth good. Then fanboys happy saying 'oh look it's better than Samsung'. Vivo does sth bad then fanboys are saying 'oh look it's still better than Samsung'. It's like infinite loop of illogical repeating arguments.

So we should base everything on Samsung since Samsung lost its originality and became a copycat of Apple with all marketing/engineering strategies? Or we should always aim sth to be better and better?

As long as we have these people not doing any constructive criticism, brands are enjoying their non-sense strategies.

Why? Because these people will defend their brands as they take their decision should be the best... What a world we live in...

Rock solid, very reliable. Android Auto and all other features work fine, never needs restarts (or restarts on its own, like my previous Pixel 6).
Almost no bloat, very close to vanilla Android experience.
