Get as much device as they can to the market, saturate it, and hope that this can increase PR for their brand. If they have a lot of their devices on display on every shops, then free marketing. People would become more aware of its presence.
Seriously, click that Samsung tab on the left, and you'll see a plethora of similar looking devices.

People don't realize WP don't requires too much in order to work flawless.
WP can run even on 256MB RAM and 800 Mhz proc, WP is NOT Android not require those gimmicks to run.
Android need high specs thats why Android it was soo greedy and laggy. Not play nice with low specs.

MisterCats, 23 Jul 2013Of the 125 announcements they've made this month alone, I f... moreOnly 125 my goodness it seems like so much more.
I know I go on but something has to change ,,in Nokia N-Series and E-Series days along with Samsung and SonyEricsson there was so much choice of design,,all we get nowadays is a screen that's it..It has got no precision control and with stylus precision is limited due to capacitive touchscreen..D-PADS ,REAL BUTTONS AND PROPER SHUTTER BUTTONS AND PROPER SEND/END KEYS are crucial for operation..I have been using mt E75 for today it has poor battery and bigger ones are available but ending calls and whizzing round screen using d-pad was great relief it did almost everything I need and used gravity for twitter which was fast.Just missing the reverb(concert hall)settings from Samsung...Instead of lifting up thumb everytime to tap at piece of glass is gone just slide your fingers over keys and depress when you need to.
I can not be alone and know I am not aline with this but design and real buttons has to come back ,,the Xperia Pro is super with all it buttons and the whole qwerty lights up and with D-Pad and proper send/end keys it would be top device.Hope this Samsung flip is fairly good spec and reignites the passion for companys because I and others never asked for all this full touchscreen crap it was shoved on us.
As for this stupid screen size I am out these are not phones anymore or gadgets they are mini tvs ,boring ones at that..

Disappointing ... didn´t expect one things that come from Nokia, the only thing that has changed is the size of the screen. Sincerely nokia already has been innovative.

Nice specs. Dont compare Android hardware requirements with WP8 or even iOS. They are VERY different OSes. Android can still "lag" even on 2GB ram while iOS and WP8 dont even on 512ram. I know this coz I use both Android and WP8.

to me the specs r kind of a let down but if they price it right many other people will b interested i have nokia lumia 920 and htc one i am happy with the lumia so wp8 is really good for entry level phones "diffrent" not "better" than android
so good luck nokia

:| For some reason, I always felt the series that had an even number e.g 6,8 had poor design compared to the odd number ones

Ahah! Another phone running on a DOS like OS. Change your design language MS. There are hardly any transition animation. They interface seems to be designed with just a 8 bit color pallete. Except for the live tiles displaying images n app icons The os just seems to have just a few colors being used throughout on any given theme tht you choose. Your phones cant even manage 30 fps on modern games n os design seems like windows classic era. And Windows phone does lag when it provides animations.. Look at the live tiles on your windows phones, surprise thts one of the areas where the os has animations n they lag/ stutter. Well on the android phones tht you'll bash stating that it lags, just disable the animations.. or better still find me a single nexus phone that lags, regardless of animations or no animations.

One of the issues I had with considering a move to WP is that I wouldn't be able to use a hardware keyboard - having a bigger screen really offsets that though.
