The Motorola Edge 50 Neo looks promising! Loving the unique Pantone Poinciana color and the vegan leather back—it definitely stands out in the market full of glass-backed phones. Excited to see how it performs in the full review, especially considering the lightweight design and the 6.4-inch display. The inclusion of a matching case and a 68W charger in some markets is also a nice touch

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2024Too bad it does not have size and battery of edge 50. This. If it had a 5000mah battery it would be attractive. Makes no sense to be lower than last year's models even on the G lineup.

It sucks. There is no automatic anonymous call recording support.

The screen should be great, 256GB base storage is great, IP rating is great.
Problem is It's still too expensive for what it is.

- cameras setup close to the one on Galaxy S24
- wifi 6e antennas
- wireless charging.
I think it's a mistake to propose a 12/512Go at 499€ without offering a 8/256 at 399.
The big question is how the 12bits ISP on 7300 will manage cameras...compare to 18bits ISP on high-end devices.

With a 6 or 6.1" display this would have been a great compact smartphone and a worthy alternative to the Samsung S23 or ZenFone 10. Even the price point of 499€ would have been "reasonable" if the 50 Neo were a Compact phone. A missed opportunity for Motorola.
