The soc will be E2400 or E 2400e?

potato4k, 31 Aug 2024Not sure why people are having an issue with the underclock... moreI'm happy that Samsung is finally using Exynos on its Fan edition series. This, I hope, should cost less than the S23.

Not sure why people are having an issue with the underclocked SoC. Even the normal SoC will down clock most of the time. So for 99% usage scenario, regular consumers won't notice any difference. If this would produce better battery life, then it's good.

The problem with the FE line is the design. If it's the same bulky and heavy (for no reason) design as the S23FE/A55, then I wouldn't be interested.

It's good that Samsung is releasing a successor in this series this soon. Previously, they made 22 FE with 22 FE specs and released it so late that they just called it 23 FE lol.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2024So why downclock it?They are companies who can even burn their own products to keep the price higher.

Zero400, 30 Aug 2024S20 FE was the true fan edition The Note FE was the real fan edition literally speaking, made for Note 7 fans. Got myself one back in 2017 when it came out. The S series fan editions is something I never really understood, I mean if you're a fan, you buy the S24, why a cheaper version of it?

Maybe because Exynos 2400 overheats a little bit or just to justify the lower price

I'm sure that Samsung is gonna overprice this shit. If they do, then it's likely gonna be DOA, because of the already coming Xiaomi T Series.
Samsung, Honestly, why don't you just release all of them at the same time?

Honestly due to the bigger Battery, display and lower price this might be the better s24

"A previous Geekbench run has revealed that the S24 FE will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 2400 SoC, in an underclocked iteration for whatever reason."

Because the Exynos 2300 doesn't exist and the S23 FE used the previous year's SoC.

Also 9W reverse wireless charging is faster than the 4.5W on the S24 Ultra.

Bodygard, 30 Aug 2024Underclocked soc? why? Go with the S24 or S24+ instead, you... morebecause the intention is to be cheaper than the s24 and s24 Plus
Besides, the S24 FE Line after launch undergoes a price cut, so if it costs 600 dollars, it will soon be priced at 500

Underclocked soc? why? Go with the S24 or S24+ instead, you probably can get them for the same price as the S24FE and they're better phones.

the exynos 2400 has already proven to be a great processor
Samsung just needs to bring the Galaxy s24 FE with fewer bezels because the s23 FE's bezels are horrible
I believe the S24 FE will be a big hit for Samsung this time
especially when there is a post-launch price cut
