My ZFold 3 main screen inside just went Blackout. I rarely use it cause i always use only the front screen. Don't know what happened. I think this is a big concern that Samsung Galaxy should look out or else it will be their downfall.

It needs bigger battery too as the ZF6 is not even enough to last beyond 5 hrs SOT and same battery now has to power a bigger 8"screen? Does not make any sense if it still has the tiny 4400Mah from 6 years ago; when competitors are having up to 6000Mah now.
Samsung has not been very innovative since the original fold after all these years, just iterative versions of the same and that is why their have sales have fallen year after year drastically now to less than 300,00 units sold in Korea for ZF6.

My conclusion was and still is that the inner screen is harder to break than standard phone screens in case of being dropped.

And how many of them have... moreWell thats your problem repair is very costly just watching JRE videos proves the foldables are not for mass market because they are easy to break hard to repair and each fix of main screen is 1000 euros no thanks.

Inner foldable screen on modern foldables is quite durable, with exception of screen protector scratching easier than glass, but it's replaceable.
In fact I thing the olny thing that save my z fold 3 after a bad drop is that it was unfolded and the plastic screen rook the impact and didnt shatter, unlike the back unfortunately.

The only reason I'd ever get one of these foldables is to use a stylus on the larger screen so that would be good news.
Design, photo editing for work and personal sketching/painting/drawing are all things I currently do on my Tab S8+ and Tab S9. Some note taking and small edits on a Note9 too. If I could combine those devices it might be good but I've been holding off due to the cost of these super fragile foldable screens.

Compared to a competition its definitely not worth the price for specs.
S pe or not its main screen is tottaly fragile. Just like the many other folds or flips making this phone completely useless and the repair is very costly.
Any other competition maybe without S pen but output 10-100 times better device for less price.
