Nokia Lumia 625 brings a 4.7" screen, LTE to the masses

23 July, 2013
The screen size is pretty huge for an entry-level phone, but the WVGA resolution is not perfect.

samsun use li polymer batter, nokia use li ion batter.
Samsung has -ve customer support and nokia support and customer care is rated 5 star by BBC One.
Samsung use same designs for every phone.every phone look the same. Even if you buy a s4 you need to say its s4 to others.

Was it hard to put a 1Gb of ram in there? We're midway of 2013, still I'm seeing 512 of ram. Low-to-Midtier devices wasn't an excuse anymore.

AnonD-41768, 23 Jul 2013What you have said is true but you have to understand that ... morethere is still sth great nokia could do. does the system prohibit lumia to have:
                          2gb ram?
                          64gb storage?
                          adreno 305?
                          gorilla glass3?
                          amoled, pmhd, clearblack?
lte, nfc, dualwifi abgn hotspot, bt 4.0, usbotg?
                          gyro, accelero, proximity, compass, baro?
pv ois back and 2mp wide angle front cam?
2.2ghz dual krait (since it supports 1, 1.2, 1.5 ghz)?
8.5mm thick body and still bigger than 2000mah battery?
                          ip57?
i guess not, it simply needs to assemble these in one piece, and the cost will increase just reasonably.

AnonD-133243, 23 Jul 2013that means that lumia 1020 is not purely a flagship, but mo... moreWhat you have said is true but you have to understand that WP8 isn't Android, it can't be used with just any chipsets, chipsets have to be designed to work for WP8. Even on a post in GSMA or somewhere else I saw that MS had to put GDR3 update on hold because of problems with newer chipsets (bugs etc)...
Nokia could have increased the size of L1020's screen to 5" but it would still use the WXGA res because of WP8's limitations.
" the flagship is not about price, but having the most premium to date. i'd gladly pay good money for a superior phone, some are buying low specs luxury phones for big money, why not a superior specs lumia for twice the price of l1020? i would."
To that, L1020 has a 2GB RAM on-board (most premium in phones until Note 3 comes out). CPU, GPU those are MS's fault, not Nokia's. They didn't think ahead and didn't optimize their OS before. (Come on, it doesn't even have a File Explorer, Screen Rotation Lock, etc)
Price? Just look up the user opinions of Lumia 1020, people are all over it, '$300 is too much I'd rather buy a S4, HTC One, Sony XZ'. Maybe you will buy it, but that's just one person, what about the millions of other people?

That's a lot of mobile for your buck, way to go.
                              Have already used/owned the Lumia 610, 620, 800, 520.
WP 7.5/7.8 was already swell but WP is simply excellent!
Ok, there is still work to be done by Microsoft but aren't we all beta users?
And you can feel that Nokia is short of cash, sometimes it's buggy whereas you don't have this as much with HTC or Samsung... But the fix it a while later.

The products are fine but the pricing is the problem with Nokia. All the products are over priced or beyond the reach apart from some elite. If they change that part they can have a good stay in the market else like it bonds the company will also have a junk rating.
