cant wait, I held out upgrading to the OP12 , now OP13 likely have micro curved which is an improvement its gonna be a big jump from my current 3 year old Xiaomi Mi 11 especially battery life , will buy Chinese version cheaper and flash oxygen

        OnePlus just can't wait the finish the year off lol

        They've just released the Nord 4.

        I guess OnePlus 13 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Probably will be released around the same time as the Xiaomi 15 and other similar Chinese device like IQOO 13.

The OnePlus 13 sounds like a great upgrade, especially with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and those camera specs. I also hope they consider a flat screen option in the future. Fingers crossed!

            Excited to see the OnePlus 13 potentially launching in October! With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and impressive specs like the 6.8” LTPO screen and 50MP triple camera setup, it looks like OnePlus is set to raise the bar again. Can’t wait to see how it performs!

They don't have the drive for excellence, as long as they can hike up the price and make people buy it, buy off youtubers and reviewers and throw money at marketing, they don't need to have a competitive chip.

                    I hope they don't go through with what the alleged design look like. It looks so bland compared the 12, regardless if it looks the same (in a way)

                    I prefer what they did with the 12 design wise, it's good.

Actually amazing that they launched it around the same price in Europe as in China. In fact when you take into account the roughly 20% VAT in most European countries it was actually a tiny bit cheaper in Europe. It's the only Chinese branded phone that I can ever remember being launched cheaper in Europe than in China

                          Qualcomm is gonna make better chips every year even if Samsung decides to only use exynos on all phones.
                          Sony will still making new sensor tech if Apple decides to use only Samsung or omnivision.

                          Galaxy S and iphones dont have Samsung storage. Still Samsung LSI keeps developing better chips.


                          It is funny when you are the ones that attack brands that make little revenue with phones like Asus, Sony and Htc but have to protect Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Huawei that together make more than 120 billion dollars with phone sales.
                          Any of these 4 has much more resources than Motorola, you attack as well.

                          By the way, OnePlus gets components through Oppo. Much better prices compared to what other can get.

                          OP has condition to afford Samsung E7 panel instead of Boe 8T.
                          OP has condition to trade LYT808 for LYT-T808 ( already inside OP Open)
                          OP has condition to offer better motherboard to avoid all issues users of op9 and 10 are having.

                          Where is oppo's 80-200mm periscope? Highly doubt it is lack of money to offer

                              I wonder if they have been banned from using all the best technologies other smartphone companies can use freely

                              If Huawei charges $10000 I hope everyone supports them as the underdog

                              Nah maybe we should just hope that we praise Samsung and apple forever and encourage them to whatever they want

                              Maybe being biased to the Chinese actually helps everyone

                                🤬 to see Google Pixel 9 Pro XL for €1200.

                                🤫 when Huawei in China asks €1400 ( imagine price in Europe) for P70 Ultra that is even worse phone than pixel 9 pxl.


                                Just proves my point. I bet you and other will again find excuse when Huawei announces tri fold for more than $4000. Gonna say it is the price of the tech.

                                  So if they are not buying from the same buyers it means less mass production potential and adoption
                                  Which can hasten development and drive down costs
