        This should have used unisoc tiger chipset with ufs 2.2 storage and redmi 14c should have done too

Some ... moreOnce you go $200 and higher, the competition is actually quite fierce and you can get great phones even from Samsung. Heck for ~$160 you can get the Galaxy A15 4G with G99. The problem is anything around $100 are still filled with eMMC lagfest, unless you're willing to go to lesser brands like Transsion brands (eg iTel).

                  Anything above 100EUR for this is way too much, literally the A05s sells for around that and has a 90hz screen - that's a difference anyone can actually feel compared to a "10% more CPU performance!".

The only brand that can do better that I could think of is iTel (P65/RS4) The rest are doing the same thing (G85/88/Unisoc+eMMC)

                        It's unfortunate that we are still seeing eMMC lagfest in this price range. Can't blame Samsung, the rest of the Chinese OEMs are doing the same thing (G85/G88/Unisoc).

                          All you ppl forgetting Samsung is the iPhone of android . One ui 7 will blow your xiomi out water hahahah pixels are toasters , mottos are cheap

                              I would not pay more than 95 eur for that phone.

                                Redmi 10c with ufs storage from few years ago is still the best ever budget phone. Nowadays there are very competitive cheap phones with same or similar price as this scamsung a06. Tecno spark 20 pro, tecno pova 6 neo or 6, infinix hot 40 pro. All are using helio g99 and ufs storage. My favourite is tecno pova 6 with a oled display and 70w charger

                                        The budget and mid range this year is totally cooked. Some would argue the flagships this year are cooked especially the pixel with its mid range processor.

                                        I'm all for budget phones but we need to remember the good old days when we used to get budget bangers!

                                        The original Moto G was insane value for money and also even up until the Moto G30.
                                        What about the Xiaomi Mi A2 lite with its really efficient Snapdragon 625?
                                        Even the Nokia 5.3 was decent for its time even though the brightness was too low.

                                        We don't even get flagship killers like the original Oneplus One!
