Huawei is moving faster than old USA with all the old skeletons in the office and is able to progress in chips while only being “3 years behind”(even then, the top contenders are not really innovating at a neck pacing speed…especially SAMESUNG). I have a 4 year old iPhone 12 Pro Max that still runs fine for most things and games so I’m pretty sure the “newer” SoC will run just fine.


      I swear when China does well, hard core fear mongering and doing things to stop them from growing but when China does bad, all of a sudden, now they can’t “innovate” or they are behind, or people come up with excuses that they don’t want to use Chinese products. But somehow, NO ONE WANTS to do THAT with AMERICAN MADE products. No one wants to put a HEAVY sanction on APPLE or GOOGLE, or QUALCOMM, or MICROSOFT.

              This could easily be the right most edge of the try Fold. Not the center. So this holds the Sim camera SoC and main chipset.

                Super excited about trifolds. Merging Phone and Tablet in one is the dream. Hope other brands jump on this as well soon bringing different designs and screen aspect ratios.
                So far foldables with square screen has been mostly useless.

                                And US is already preparing for a next round of economic sanctions and trade barriers against China (you can read it about in the financial press).
