Offline maps on Wear OS is a much bigger deal than people make it out to be - this literally makes watches using it stand-alone devices rather than phone add-ons.

Sorry I'm not biting even though I use Android w/GMS but I choose my own apps and other 3rd party solutions that are NOT reliable on Google.
I learned my lesson being chained to a manufacturer and single OS + Service provider. I'm old school, got trapped on Apple ecosystem for ease of stress and got caught up in F land got stupid doing it. No longer. Never again.

Google sound search was already a thing for years.
So many "new features" these days are just old features that have been very slightly altered and renamed.
