    Invetor, 06 Sep 2024weight this Moto S50 weighs only 170 grams (but when ... more1000 mAH additional capacity adds around 12-15g weight depending on the battery technology. So if a phone was 180gm with 5000 mAH battery, it would be around 170gm with 4300 mAH battery.

    BTW I am not sure why there is such hue and cry over the battery capacity. I think 4300 mAH is decent enough and will easily last more than a day, given the efficient chipset.

          (but when considering the fact that many phones w/ 5000mAh battery were able to keep their weight down to 180 grams, Moto S50's 170 grams w/ 4,300 mAh battery seems unimpressive. It should have been even lighter like 150-160 grams or they should have had put a bigger battery like 4,500mAh)

            no curved screen? hell yeah!

            only if the fingerprint sensor was ultrasonic and the main camera sensor a bit larger.... but oh well

            also small, lightweight body w/ wireless charging? This one is a special! (I highly doubt it'll sell like hotcakes, but it'll sure find an audience)

            D7300 should be efficient enough to compensate for the small battery.

            and no I personally don't care much about software updates

              7300 is actually more of an updated 7050, and it has nothing to do with 7200. The 7350? Well that's an updated 7200.

              Both the processor (7300) and the battery are the absolute bottleneck for this otherwise well-rounded phone! More manufactured obsolescence 🙈

                            Oh boy! Dimensity 7300? 7300 is between 7200 and 7350, so the performance of this chip must be somewhere between the performance of 7200 and 7350, right? Right?

                              1.5k pixels, ridiculously high brightness and only 4k battery, no thanks. Battery life will be meh on this one. 5.5k-6k battery is absolute min for 1.5k screens. Too bad we are not getting LCD'S with good processors these days.
