I bought one and returned it after a few days.
It's an "ok" phone, but the SoC is slow today (camera lag) and I'm sure it will be almost useless in a few years.
The display is LTPO and it's super bright, but in dark conditions it's greenish instead of pitch black.
It would be ok for around 250-300€.

I was already really fond of my Edge 30 Neo but I missed some serious major updates promise. Now that Motorola has made a promise of more than one major update (even if it will take them at least a full year to deliver it but better late than never) I'm becoming even more fond (again) about this brand. My current Edge 50 works as a charm for now.

It's great that it's smaller than the 40 Neo. A step in the right direction.

If I weren't already using a 6.1" phone, I'd just buy an S23 on clearance sale than this.

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2024Its small but again its not really small. Do you get it It may not be as big as the norm for the past few years, but it's definitely still not small. It's closer to the 6.5"-6.8" large phones than the 5.9"-6.2" small phones of today. Even GSMArena staff who have it said in their In For Review article, "The Motorola Edge 50 Neo may sound like a compact handset if you're judging it by its specs - it has a 6.4-inch display and weighs just 171 grams. But in person, it doesn't feel like a small phone."

Ignore the votes they don't tell sales figures, and this is going to sell a lot because it's small and that's what a lot of them ask for

Lucy M, 08 Sep 2024It is a good device, but not with this price tag!Luckily it's motorola so the price will probably drop quite quickly. Also you can get the 8/256 model for a bit cheaper.

Great phone the only shame is it could be powered by 8s gen 3 but okay.
And its size should range from anywhere of 6,7 or bigger up to 8 inch to be a proper phone.
